ERG Enterprises was born out of need. As Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, the city experienced the worst natural disaster in its history. Iconic and historic landmarks were left in disrepair in the storm’s wake, and a city, once prosperous, struggled to recover. Dr. Eric George, a successful healthcare entrepreneur and full-time surgeon, recognized the need and potential of his adopted city. Soon after, he founded ERG Enterprises with the sole intention of revitalizing a once-vibrant community with strategic investments that would bring positive change in the most important arenas of life.

His early vision grew into an established enterprise that today employs more than 200 full-time workers and stimulates tens of thousands of jobs. The company also contributes to the improvement of the human condition not just locally, but on a global scale. ERG Enterprises is the proud investor, developer, and/or owner and operator of more than 35 businesses across 15 different industries.
